Uncontrollable Habits

     Sometimes in life you run across people that have such problems, you know habits that tend to get out of control and overtake functional thought processes. I would say it is the lack of control in a world of temptation. Something that sounds simple and petty to some, then becomes a raging monster. Say when people do a drug for the first time, they love that beginning  high but then spend the rest of their time chasing it. Some choose other substances to do and drive toward the same goal. Most of these people know the outcome and somehow think that this time it will be different. But in all essence it does not. Life has plenty of a challenges on a day to day bases and adding a homemade remedy to offset your way of thinking or how to deal with it is not the answer. I have notice that drug and alcohol abuse in this country is now celebrated and not frowned upon. You know lesser time in jail for offenders and I have seen in my time in Law Enforcement getting a DWI is not more of a deterrence than a speeding ticket. I have run across many people that have as many a 5 DWI's and somehow still retain a license and still get behind the wheel doing it all over again. I see drug dealers making the drugs in neighborhoods with the potential of blowing up a whole block. It would appear that people have severely lost their moral compass. Example: someone smokes a cigarette and the whole world erupts about second hand smoke and someone smokes weed and not a peep. Someone at a party gets drunk and it's funny, that is until they go out a kill someone and then the world erupts. Seems to me like we have our priorities somewhat screwed up on what is right and wrong.  

     Life is a one time gift, and you should make the best out of all of it. You get one go around in this world and you should take into consideration that that is what everyone else is trying to do. Over indulging yourself with pleasantries like drugs and alcohol to excess hurts everyone in your path, some more than others. When you look around and see all of the miracles of life walking and interacting around you and when you look to the sky at night and see all those stars that might have life on them you have to stand back and realize what a gift we have all be given. So take the time to slow down get a handle on your life and just think about how special you really are and you do not need all that outside stimulation to be happy. Be thankful you have had the opportunity to experience it. But experience it with a clear mind so you can revel in all of it's true beauty.

Uncharted Waters (Election)

   I find myself worried about what is going to happen over the next few months. I have seen the narrative of this election jump from one thing to another. All while neither has talked about the real problem. (The total decline in the American family due to jobs, health Insurance, Education, and long term Politicians in it for the money.) What I do see are lies, deception and most of all the trick of changing the subject to distract from the real problems. They seem to be comfortable with all of that. They, meaning the Politicians and the News Media. Hell it gets them votes and in turn gives the Media much to talk about on Air. We have been so distracted by this clown show that the American people have literally turned on each other with everything from Racism to Homophobic, and Islamophobic and outright Political Correctness running a muck. While you are all distracted by this our country is falling apart, going broke, losing faith, and following in the very footsteps of the Ancient Roman Empire. 

     I have no dog in this fight because I cannot figure out the end games to all of the ones running for President. On one hand Trump sounds like he wants to do the right thing in taking the fight to preserving the continuity of our country and having people follow the laws that govern her. (I agree with that) But like most is it just a talking point to get elected, or is he for real? Hillary on the other hand is a flat out liar. She will never admit to a mistake or just flat out being wrong. She has changed her position on just about everything, but most of all she is dangerous. What I mean by that is her personality. She will step on God to get what she feels she deserves. You have to remember she stayed with Bill after all the affairs. She stood by his side for one reason and that was to be the first woman President. Being a woman or a man is not a determining factor to being President. It is what you bring to the table that counts. And I do not know about you but she has a very high mortality of people left in her wake. I am by no means a conspiracy theorist but it is what it is. After the attempt on Julian Assanges life I cannot dismiss her involvement. 

     As Americans we have to weigh this election on the lesser of two evils. And by all accounts that is very sad but true. It seems you have two choice, one Hillary (Keeps everything the same and finishes the job of bankrupting the country from which she has had a good start at, due to her involvement with the Obama Administration.) Or Trump (someone you cannot quite figure out, but has a business background and if he fights for this country like he did his own companies well, we need that right now.) All in all we have lost our faith and our pride in this country and are now losing our rights as well. All driven by Social Warriors that want nothing more than to set around and gather free shit. All while the other half works 2 and 3 jobs to feed and educate their families. No one said the choice was easy. I would just ask before you vote do the research on them before you pull the handle, and use your own brain to figure it out. Do not let the media tell you how to vote. They after all are in this only for themselves.
