Religious awareness for America

I ran across someone the other day that sat across from me at a desk and asked me some very odd questions. I will not repeat them verbatim for reasons of personal standards. But I will reveal the gist of the conversation. Question: Do you believe that you are going to Heaven when you die? Answer: Don't know, I cannot formulate Heaven into a cognitive answer. Question: Do you feel that you are following the right religion? Answer: I follow my heart not a Religion. Question: What are you searching for? Answer: An answer you cannot give me. Question: What if my Religion is right and our teachings are correct, and what do you have to lose by following our message? Answer: I lose everything, A Religious belief or group that is just over 100 years old cannot have formulated all the answers of the greatest question, that has been on every single humans mind. And that question is :Why are we here? The sheer arrogance of someone thinking they have all the answers to that question is to me just staggering. If for some reason someone would have come up with an answer, why are we as humans still killing each other every day. All over one Question: What is the one true religion.

This person has little to no experience in life and most of their acquaintances have kind of lived in the shadows of a belief that denies them the ability to look for themselves. The experience of life has taught me one thing and that is, when people are so paranoid that they start looking into your life for who you are, then they are looking for a weakness to exploit. Because in life things are not always what they seem to be. And people can formulate their opinions on a very common mistake. Not trusting their gut.

I only write this because you see so many people trying to change the way you think by trying to change the narrative in your life. They tend to look up information on families and friends and then formulate a way to gain your trust. That is a form of cultism that can snatch you up before you even know it has. Trust in your own beliefs and hold fast to your way of life. Listen to your heart and it will not fail you. And when someone starts to ask personal questions, keep those answers to yourself. My father use to always tell me: only give out the basic information because if you give more, someone will then have what they need to use against you when it suits them. As far as your Religious beliefs, stay true to your heart, and listen to that inner voice, you know the one that makes your hair stand up on the back of your neck. With that you can never go wrong. But most of all be very leery of people who begin a conversation with personal questions, especially Religious ones.

John Adams
Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence.

Religious Intolerance in America.

I can honestly say that I am not an authority on this subject, but as a person of science I can and do have the ability to research the problems going on. Now first off I do not have a problem with anyone expressing their religious beliefs peacefully. I have as much of a problem with churches like the ones who protest Soldiers Funerals as well as Islamic people of faith demanding the beheading of people for speaking of their Prophet. The one thing that did set America apart from the world was the Religious freedom we enjoy. But it would seem to me that now the Government picks and chooses what is considered tolerant. (Thomas Jefferson strongly believed that religion was a personal choice that should be free from government interference.) And I could not agree more. Government's job was not to dictate Religion but to protect the practice of Religion of it's citizens. The Governments job was not to make it popular or take it mainstream, just to protect it's citizens from persecution. We ask no less for the protections of persons of color or any other beliefs.

Now we have a class of people who then go out and make movies and that somehow makes them historians and spokesmen for certain beliefs in this country. What a load of shit. These people like Miley Cyrus and Ashton Kutcher and so forth have no earthly idea what the hell they are talking about. The fact they make some shitty movie and that somehow makes them an authority on Religious beliefs and what is acceptable to the American public. Instead of public debate on the subject for these airheads they would rather go to Twitter and Facebook to rant on their beliefs. No guts no glory I would say.

It would seem to me that Christians have and are losing the fight in this country over their own beliefs. Everyday those beliefs are targeted by Governments and by airheads in Hollywood as if speaking about Jesus is sacrilege against the American people . But I notice they have no trouble spending the money with In God We Trust on it. Right Bill Maher.

I think what scares me the most is the taking over of this country by certain religions who preach hate and death as their mantra. These religions have become more popular due to the fact they appeal to our violent society. What they do not get is Video games are just that games. These people kill in real life. You see these young people drawn into these cults by promises of killing people without repercussions. But I am sorry to say their are sever repercussions to entering Cults that promise what they cannot provide.

We have become a lost group of people in the world today. We have several religions that want nothing more than the end to come. And that to me is the saddest part. Because with all the beauty that this great Earth gives us all we want is for it to end. How sad, how very very sad.

"For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone."

"Fear keeps us focused on the past or worried about the future. If we can acknowledge our fear, we can realize that right now we are okay. Right now, today, we are still alive, and our bodies are working marvelously. Our eyes can still see the beautiful sky. Our ears can still hear the voices of our loved ones."

" Our Hearts and minds are beautiful machines of nature, And our belief of God makes that beauty cohesive. It is how we treat others that define us as followers of a loving and compassionate creator. "
