Obama, What has America become? Was this your dream?

     To start with, I have no idea what has happen to this country, but I can see it has become full of liars and underachievers. The last Blog I wrote on the Robertson's I ran into some contrite people that used this forum to argue an asinine point. What bothered me the most was the crude and unintelligible arguments put forth. But now we are getting down to brass tax, what I see is a country full of uneducated, selfless narcissist. Ones that demand rather than earn respect. Ones that stay at home at 20 through 26 because they crave that security from mommy and daddy giving them everything. Never learning responsibility and taking charge of their own lives. Children being raised by their grandparents and calling their mothers by their first name. But wait, they have back up on this. Dr Phil and all those so called great Psychologist that have spoke out on this have a reason for this and its not the one that really applies. Talk them to death, ya that really works  Most young parents  expect you to raise their kids so at 16 they can go out and party with their friends, and instead of the parenting themselves. Shifting the responsibility onto you.  It is like a endless cycle of stupidity. You are not their friend your their parent. Teach them. 

     Obama's dream for America was income equality right? Let's see he signed up for the bronze plan and makes 500.000 a year and pays 400.00 a month in insurance. Now explain to me how that 1% is supposed to pay for all this new Health Care IE Medicaid Programs and all of the added expense that comes with it. I make 150.000 a year and me and my wife will be paying 807.00 a month. See anything wrong with this picture? They consider that middle class I suppose, but it looks like I will be picking up more of the tab than him, you know at 51 I have to pay for maternity care and child dentistry and so many other asinine things it Gives me a headache,  I would get sick listing all the coverage I will never use. Not to mention he lied about signing up himself "it was later said his minion did it for him". So when will the lying stop. Or will we as Americans just think of it as a new norm. This grand experiment called Health Care will be a disaster. 7.5 trillion dollars in 5 years and nothing to show for it. We are about to happen upon another housing bubble and to top that off the college loan bubble will bring this house of play money to it's knees. All while the American people look on with "What happened?" on their faces. Insurance bail outs will be shoved down your throat to save Obama care.  The reason will be because the people choose not to engage this destruction head on. We are too busy fighting more about race relations and illegal immigration and abortion than focusing on the real cause of all this equal separation between the peoples of this country. All this President has done is expose and exploit a rift of division in America. Now acting like the saviour he will swoop in with his big Government and try to save the day. And with all his little puppets in the media will have you convinced he was right all along. It's like watching a bad dream and not being able to wake up. And as far as I am concerned all you apologist for this man will now have to live with it. And I guarantee you, people will not forget your voices and you will be held accountable just as he will. This is not a Race issue it is a ignorance issue. Nobody wants a President to fail, because that looks bad on all of us. But this man has failed and failed miserably. And if you Liberal leaders really want things to succeed then step in and give advice and guidance. But I have a thought that you want things to go just the way they are. The Destruction of American values and the American family, and the total annihilation of the Constitution as well as Destruction of Religious freedoms. Yea I think you are letting things fall where they may. But this is not a game and you are not out of the line of fire, so I would rethink your tactic. 

     There is so much wrong here it baffles the mind. Our country is on a pres opus and about to be pushed over the edge. I can see a civil war over ideas coming. You can only push a people so far before they fight back.

2013 Christmas in America

     One Christmas morning in 1974 I remember waking up as a kid whose father was in the U.S. Army serving in Alaska, and seeing this beautiful little silver tree setting by the window that morning and thinking how lucky I was. I remember how long and hard my father worked to give us kids a Christmas and what it meant to him and my mom to see all of us happy.  The best part of that morning was when my mother pulled open the certain and a large moose was looking through the window at the lights on the tree and it startled her so bad she hollered to my father "Darrell there is a moose on the back porch". But this was Alaska so we went on with our day as normal. I remember setting there opening my presents while my parents took Polaroids (pictures) and understanding the bond we had as a family was not over gifts but was over the love and respect we had for each other. Later that morning we went outside to play with our friends and I seen all the adults wish each other a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, no matter what religion or color or background they came from. It seemed to me like one large family and it felt that way as well. And AWE the Dinner, it was great as usual because my mother was a fantastic cook. But before dinner we said grace at the table "everyone present". We set down as a family, with no distractions, no TV, just us. And as I look back on it, it was the happiest time in my life. A moment in time that will never be forgotten.

     2013: How many families do this? How many people express to someone "Merry Christmas"? Most people will say to me, we have to respect different groups rights, so you cannot say Merry Christmas because it might offend someone. Think about it they are words "Merry Christmas" that's all, there is no threat  no implications of pushing some into a religious following. Just words of affection and greetings. 


     Are we really better off now than then? Did you hear of school shootings? Knock out games? Indiscriminate killings? Constant lecturing on the right or wrong things to say to certain groups. 

     I still remember that day in 1974 and I wish everyone could have a day like that. Where did those Americans go?

 To the people that have read the prior post and somehow came up with this theory it sounded like gay bashing or bigotry you need to go back and reread it again. To clarify my position on this I was simply stating the obvious. Taking the focus off the real problems of the day and that being millions out of work, the Constitution being shredded on a weekly basis, and every group in the world screaming we have special rights. It's funny how I did not see one woman, not one, or even one Liberal Group, or even one Women's Group say a word when MSNBC trashed Palin with terms like defecation and urinating in her mouth. Now imagine the same thing being said about Michelle Obama. Could you even gauge the outrage that would ensue. I do not care about what people do in their own rooms and lives, but I do care about a persons right to say how they feel. If we were all real about this there is damage and blame on all sides. But the more we separate ourselves into groups the more likely this grand experiment will fail and fail horribly

There will always be speech that offends people of all backgrounds, but that is what this country was founded on. You cannot make people love something just because you feel you are right. Education is the best response. A well founded debate ends with, people who agree or disagree, but it ends there. You do not end a intelligible argument with name calling or slander. Because you become the hypocrite by preaching one view and when your argument falls, you resort to slander or name calling.
